UNO 2-Pizza-Pack

Each Pizzeria Uno 10” Deep Dish Pizza serves 2-4 people.

The Uno’s story begins in Chicago in 1943 when Ike Sewell created the first deep dish pizza and opened a new type of restaurant at the corner of Wabash and Ohio.  It was here that Ike served a pizza unlike any that had ever been served before.  “Buttery, out of this world crust that had a tall edge like a fruit pie.” He created a recipe that combined authentic Italian spices and quality tomatoes with more cheese than people could believe and then baked it an hour.  When people tasted it, they wanted more of the same and lines have been forming ever since to get into the restaurant. Pizzeria Uno has become one of the most celebrated pizzerias in the world.

Pizzeria Uno is still serving the original Deep Dish Pizza today at the same location in Chicago where it all began in 1943.

Now you can bring some of that Chicago Pizzeria Uno experience home with the Original ’43 Deep Dish Pizza.  We handcraft every one of our Original ’43 pizzas from the same recipe with the same ingredients as the original. We hope you will enjoy the Original ’43, the Deep Dish Pizza that started it all.

I relocated from Chicago a few years ago and was thrilled to be able to purchase the original Deep Dish again. It was well worth the wait. Delicious!
This is what I've been waiting for!

I visited the original Uno in Chicago years ago and loved the pizza. I live in Washington now and I haven't had great deep dish since I moved here. This tasted just like the one I had in Chicago.
